Chelsea Kidwell
Chelsea Kidwell is a fine arts painter based on California’s Central Coast. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from UC Santa Cruz, where she discovered her passion for painting and began developing the style that defines her work today.

Chelsea’s paintings focus on portraits and figurative subjects, capturing people with careful attention to detail, expression, and presence. She is drawn to nostalgia and the subtle ways personal stories and histories can be expressed through color, texture, and composition.

Working in oils and acrylics, Chelsea explores how different mediums contribute to the depth and richness of her work. Each piece reflects her unique approach and invites thoughtful engagement from viewers.

Through her paintings, Chelsea seeks to create work that is visually compelling and personally resonant, offering a space to notice small details, consider narratives, and connect with the subjects in meaningful ways.
